I found some phrases about "or" and want to share with you.
'or so' = approximately
Ex. It takes an hour or so by train.
'or something/ or anything' = to say vaguely that you mean another thing of the same type
Ex. His name was Frank, or Fred, or something.
Would you like sandwich or anything?
'or else' = otherwise
They can't be home yet, or else they'd answer the phone.
'or rather...' = to correct or explain what you have said
We spent a few days in Bombay, or rather, Mumbai.
